  JW Broadcasting is dying.

  once a month about 15 to 20 elderly jw publishers would meet at the kingdom hall and one elder was assigned to set up the system so they could view jw broadcasting.

  these publishers were long time pioneers, former elders, and long time publishers who know nothing about computers or the internet.

  they are the last batch of those expecting the generation that saw 1914 or understood it--- to not die off.

  Update

  My mom and I made a little trip this morning to visit the two elderly sisters that were reprimanded by the elders. My mom made some cookies and wanted me to drive her to one of the houses where both elderly sisters were waiting. My mom had called them and made arrangements.

  The sisters were happy that someone had come to visit, actually they were ecstatic. They seem to be about my mom’s age- late 80s early 90s. Have you ever seen 3 elderly sisters sit down with cookies and tea and talk? They were all talking about when they were young and pretty and all the guys would whistle and open the doors for them. The two have no children that are living. They died before the mother died. But they started asking my mom what they should do about seeing JW broadcasting since they don’t have the money to buy internet or a computer. Plus their hands are all crooked with arthritis they wouldn’t be able to use a touch pad or keyboard.

  Well my mom mentioned to them what I had told her about Jesus the Real pioneer providing a meal for 5,000 people and not the other way around. And I told them what CalebInFloroda mentioned, that Abraham was rich and had servants so the comparison the elders made was just plain stupid. And then we just kept talking about how the elders were behaving like the Pharisees in Jesus Time.

  Well by the time the visit was over the 2 elderly sisters were furious. They decided to call the elder that asked them if they could provide a meal, right then and there. He didn’t answer the phone but they both left a message on his voice mail specifying that they would be unable to provide a meal for the pioneers so he should ask someone else ------------Perhaps his wife----LOL.

  It was so funny I had to leave the room because I was cracking up.

  Anyway that’s the update.

  as i have written previously, i crashed a discussion between a young j-dub and his baptist workmate who were having.

  a religious debate outside starbucks.

  In my area, all the JWs males are gun-ho with volunteering and wanna be elders, but all the Jws females are going to the University to be nurses, teachers, business, and engineers.

  Note to idiot elders who told those weeping that Abraham was 100 when he had to raise a child and didn't cry about it:

  Abraham was rich and had servants! He didn't cry about it because he had people to do it for him.

  (Not to mention that humans are instinctively designed to care for their own infants, so much so that no one requires buying technology and taking classes in order to do it.)

  Those are good points that I never thought of. I will be using them today when I visit one of those elderly sisters.

  I remember back in the 60's carrying a booklet published by the WTBTS that was to be used to teach people how to read so they could understand the bible.

  Yea, those days are goneeee! Today's Watchtower is about Donations and Volunteering in Real Estate projects.

These publishers were long time pioneers, former elders, and long –time publishers who know nothing about computers or the internet. They are the last batch of those expecting the generation that saw 1914 or understood it--- to not die off.

  Last night they announce in my old hall that the brothers would not be assigning anyone anymore to show JW broadcasting and so, it was the responsibility of these elderly ones to get the internet and take classes and learn how to use it to view JW Broadcasting.

  A couple of the elderly sisters who are widowed were crying because they felt they were being left behind by Jehovah. A couple of the elders sat the sisters down and told them that Abraham was over a hundred years old when he had to raise a child and he did not cry about it. They were told that they were lacking in faith and they needed to correct that.

  After the lecture, the elders asked the elderly sisters if they could make some meals for the pioneers during the pioneer school. They gave them a list, turkey the first day and a Roast the next day.

  My mom who was telling me about it was very upset. I told her, “Mom, don’t feel bad, wasn’t it the other way around during Jesus‘s time? Jesus the real pioneer, provided a meal for 5,000 men women and children who were not pioneering. So if they really want to imitate Jesus, then the pioneers should provide meals for you and all your elderly friends.”

  She was furious. Today she called one of the elders and told him she could not provide any more meals, -- to get someone else to cook. For the first time she has refused to provide a meal to the pioneers. She said she will never do it again.

  She is finally starting to see the hypocrisy and lack of love.

  Are the Kingdom Halls cancelling showing JW Broadcasting at the Kingdom Hall?

  How dishonest was the Apostle Paul?

  may be some of you will be shocked by this question.

  however, when i was studying the bible with critical eyes i detected that paul ( or saul of tarsus) misquoted the hebrew bible in order to get false support for his arguments.

  of course, this tricky kind of use of the "scriptures" was not only used by him, but others, like the author of the gospel of matthew got unsupported doctrines misquoting verses.

  All the books in the NT written by Paul are based one ONE vision he had where Jesus talked to him.

  How many people today would follow ONE person who claimed he had ONE vision where Jesus talked to him?

  I wonder if there was even a Paul, or were all the stories about him just Fairy tales like the tales of Hercules?

  since the watchtower views all religious organizations as part of babylon the great who had gods disfavor and would be destroyed at armageddon, no elder including some members of the gb could explain this policy of employment.isocf pg 401.

  Since 2000, with the restructuring, it is a huge black box. GB 2.0 seem less in charge than GB 1.0. At a circuit assembly, I remember Splane saying that Watchtower won't pick him up for the airport if he is not dressed in a suit.
